I am an avid listener to Democracy Now with Amy Goodman. I'm trying to understand the LOGIC, behind keeping the volume of the ringing donation calls HIGH, at the time of the message being delivered??? I mean, we can hear people calling- which is great-WITHOUT the CONSTANT (if that's the case)NOISE of the phones ringing LOUD. I Don't know if it's just me, but I find it , not needed and quite disturbing. Nevertheless, I will continue to listen and donate,when I can, to the WBAI station, and AMY, you're the best.
